ראשית באבודאבי ושאר האמירויות למעט דדובאי, יש חובת בידוד 10 ימים. 

שנית, בינואר אושרה כניסת ישראלים עם ויזה בהגעה, שהיתה אמורה להכנס לתוקף בפברואר, אבל בפועל לא הופעלה, כדאי לחכות ולראות ולחסוך את חיפוש הסוכנויות המאושרות או להוציא כ 100 דולרמאו יותר על הויזה.
