שירותים כאלה יש במדינות מערביות, שאני לא יודעת אם יעמדו בהגדרתך "יעדים שונים תרבותית".

האקזוטיקה כבודה במקומה מונח, אבל יש סיכונים שלדעתי לא כדאי לקחת, וזה אחד מהם, מה גם שהיעדים האלה לא יברחו ותוכלו להנות מהם, אולי אפילו יותר, בעוד כמה שנים בודדות כשהקטנטנים יגדלו קצת.

מדברת בתור מי שקיבלה שירותי עזרה ראשונה בחדר מיון בצפון תאילנד, באיזור תיירותי יחסית.

קיבלתי שני תפרים ביד עקב תאונת אומגה, לא משהו דרמטי מדי, אבל חדר המיון נראה כאילו יצא מתוך סרט על מלחמות קוריאה או ויטנאם משנות ה-50-60: צילום רנטגן ללא סינר בחדר ללא דלת שחתולים יוצאים ונכנסים ממנו חופשי, תפירה עם כלים שלא נראו חד פעמיים וגם לא סטריליים במיוחד, פרפרי ענק מתעופפים מסביב, ואיש גוסס במיטה לידי, ללא כל הפרדה (גם לא וילון). למזלי אני אשה בריאה וכנראה גם בת מזל כי התפרים לא הזדהמו והפצע החלים במהירות. אבל לא הייתי רוצה שמי מילדי, כשהיו בגילאים רכים, יזדקק לטיפול כלשהו במקום כזה. זו דעתי האישית.
