Hi there,My name is Tali I am an Israeli living in Edinburgh for the moment. I don`t know what are your plans but try to come to Edinburgh in Augost when the festival is on- it is really worth it. In Edinburgh find the Royal Oak pub. The population is really mixed but trully the real thing. One other pub to go to in Edinburgh is the The White Hart Inn on grassmarket st. This is the place to try Haggis (they also have a vegeterian one- not the real thing but very good).
Avoid Striling- nothing special. Be carefull of going alone at nights people here get very very very drunk .

If you have an hour of your time free in Edinburgh I would appriechiate your help. I am envolved in a study on reading with Edinburgh University. The study monitors eye movement while reading for 5 different launguges including Hebrew. But it is really hard to find Hebrew readers here. It will only take an hour of your time to sit in front of a computer and read texts in Hebrew. You will be paid 10 pounds for your time.
