<![CDATA[A massive avalanche]]>occured in Colorado a few hours ago at Berthoud Pass on RT 40 which is the main road to Winter Park/Mary Jane ski resort.So far 6 people have been rescued, but many more cars are barried in snow.

Some areas of Colorado have recieved more that 180cm of snow in the last 15 days and this makes for high avalance alert. No word on what triggered the avalance.
