Cresta is a nice little 3 star hotel which I am sure will have an option for a family room.

Lokhutula Lodges (2 bedroom) is nice, Bayete Lodge and Amadeus Guest Lodge.

Hi. Except for the activities I mentioned there isn't much to do. You can do a Chobe day trip and see wildlife, which they do take kids on. You can also do a cruise on the Zambezi, but I prefer Chobe.

How many are you? 2 adults and a child?

I agree - you need to check if there is anything a child can take. 

October is a low risk month and all the hotel have mosquito nets - if you spray your child (and you) against mosquitoes - you reduce the risk. 

We always advise people to take pills anyways, but if you are coming with kids - October is the best moth for it with regards to malaria. 

לא הייתי במפלי ויקטוריה אבל למיטב ידיעתי יש בו סיכון מלריה. נגד מלריה אין חיסון, יש כדורים שצריכים לקחת. 

כדאי לבדוק את הנקודה הזו בעיקר כשמדובר בילדים קטנים שלא תמיד יודעים לקחת כדורים וכמובן את ענין תופעות הלווי.

Hi. There are private houses turned lodges which might be suitable for a family where you can cook your own food etc, I prefer to a hotel when traveling with kids. 

Activities - I think yo Luca nod the elephant interaction, but I need to check, but he will not be able to ride the elephant. 

You can go to the crocodile farm, go and watch the futures restaurant feed at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, and you can do a tandem canopy tour (8 lines of Omega). He will have to do it as a tandem only - i.e. with one of the parents attached together with him. 

And obviously the Falls. 

 . At the moment there are cheap flights with a low cost airline called fast jet.

 be here They work to half the price then BA, but who knows if they will still be here in October. They fly on Thursdays and Sundays. Maybe more days in October when it is busy.
