אני מעתיק את הציטוט המלא - שים לב שלפני המשפט המחשיד שכתבת יש כוכבית - הכוכבית מפנה לראשית ההגדרה - כלומר למקרה שהנהג לא רכש ביטוח LDW ואז לחברה יש את הבחירה האם לתקן (ואז השוכר ישלם התיקון) או להגדיר הרכב כטוטל לוס ואז השוכר ישלם מחיר הרכב פחות מה שהחברה השיגה עליו (ממכירה לסוחרי גרוטאות מן הסתם).
לדעתי אין מה לדאוג משמשפט הזה
Loss Damage Waiver - LDW

250$ אכן ליעד החזרה מחוץ לפלורידה (אצלנו אטלנטה, אבל אלאמו ביקשו 300$ וכך גם ציינו הסוכנויות בארץ כשביררתי, לתשלום בחו"ל כמובן). למקטע הזמנה אחר - פנימי לפלורידה (אורלנדו - Ft. Lauderdale) , לא היו כלל דמי החזרה

גם אני מפרש את תנאי הכיסוי הביטוחי בנשיונל כעדיפים על אלה של אלמו, היינו ללא השתתפות עצמית.
ככל שיסתבר שאלה פני הדברים, חסכת לי ולאחרים הרבה כסף (כ- 60% בין ההצעות של אלמו ונשיונל להצעה הכי טובה שקיבלתי בארץ ובמקרה שלי מדובר בהפרש של כ- 1000 דולר).

Alamo Additional Driver Fee
Is there always an additional driver daily fee? How much is it?
Any additional driver (including a spouse or domestic partner) will pay a daily fee of approximately $10 per day.
Fees are waived for additional drivers who are:
· Members of Alamo Insiders Program; which allows for one additional driver to be added at no cost.
· Corporate Contracts in the United States are allowed the following additional drivers at no charge:
· Commercial (corporate) rentals
· The renter's business partner
· Employer or fellow associate, who has a signed corporate contract with Alamo and drives the car for business purposes and who meet normal renter requirements.
All other additional authorized driver situations are subject to a daily charge.

אנחנו מתכוונים להחזיר את הרכב לפני תום שבוע ההשכרה, למרות שהתשלום הוא לשבוע שלם. מישהו יודע אם נצטרך לשלם קנס? או שזה אפשרי?

אפשר להחזיר את הרכב לפני תום התקופהאבל התשלום הוא עבור כל התקופה עליה התחייבתם בהזמנה, כלומר: אין החזר.
בכל אופן, בעת החתימה על חוזה בתחנת ההשכרה, אם כבר ידוע לכם שאתם מחזירים את הרכב לפני תום התקופה, אפשר לשאול שם אם תהיה איזו הנחה כלשהי. לשאול זה לא עולה כסף, בדרל כלל

לגבי נהגים נוספיםמה קורה במידה ולקחתי רכב במקום בו צריך לשלם עבור נהג נוסף, אבל במהלך הטיול נמצאים גם במקומות שבהם מותר לבן הזוג לנהוג ללא תשלום. האם נהג נוסף יהיה חוקי או שצריך להצמד לתנאים שבנקודת ההשכרה? -
לגבי נהגים נוספיםכאשר אתה שוכר רכב מחברות כמו אלאמו או נשיונל, אפשר לנהוג ברכב השכור בכל רחבי ארה"ב הקונטינטלית, אפשר גם לעבור לקנדה אחרי הודעה על כך לחברת ההשכרה.
ברגע שלקחת רכב בקליפורניה והוספת נהגים ללא תשלום, אתה מאמין שבחברת ההשכרה ייגידו לך שלנהגים הנוספים מותר לנהוג רק בקליפורניה ?
בכל אופן, כיוון שאני לא בעליה של החברה, אפשר לשאול זאת במעמד החתימה על החוזה בתחנת ההשכרה.
אני עוקב אחר ההצעות של הסוכנויות בארץ ולומד מהן: הבנתי שהסוכנויות ממש מתחכמות כאשר נותנים לך - תמורת תוספת תשלום - "הצ'ופר" של נהגים נוספים בקליפורניה, שממילא לא משלמים עליהם לפי חוקי מדינה זאת. עבור סוכנויות ההשכרה זאת דרך להרוויח עוד כמה דולרים.
