Visa questions for South Africa and Botswana
-
Apologies for the English. No Hebrew on this keyboard
I’m planning a rather long trip in Southern Africa and I have 2 questions regarding Visas:
- 1. As a holder of an Israeli passport I can enter South Africa without a Visa for 90 days. As my intention is to stay much longer, I am considering flying over (as land crossings may not be recognized) to Botswana and then returning to SA. Some one told me I am allowed to have two 90 day Visas in a year. But I can’t find any information Online confirming it. Does that mean I can enter and come back twice in 2018, and then twice more in 2019?
2. I understand Israeli citizens can get a “visa on arrival” in Botswana, but once again there’s not much info about it online. What documents will I need for the “visa on arrival”? I know certain countries require passport photos etc.
Thanks in advance.

Hi.
.I don't have information about 2 x 90 days in South Africa
Regarding Botswana – yes. You get visa on entry, no cost involved.
