Florida and California mostly, the islands around Tampa are great for the type of vacation you want, also panama city and pensacola.
in california i can only recommend San Diego, but you did not specify if you have already been there.

I would just hop on a plane to the Cancun/riviera maya are for 5 days, it does not get any better then that.. and its cheap
